On Farm Water Efficiency Plans

Work conducted locally and throughout NSW has enabled Western Land Planning to develop a comprehensive information portfolio for the management of water resources in the Murray-Darling Basin. Western land Planning consultation with landholders, industry and research organisations have facilitated the development of dynamic planning frameworks that deliver greater water use efficiency and flexibility in on farm water management. It is able to provide water users with targeted outcomes to achieve significant water savings for on farm irrigation and stock and domestic water use.

• Western Land Planning recently completed 82 individual property plans for the members of the Trangie-Nevertire Irrigation Scheme and 119 individual property plans for Jemalong Irrigation Limited. 


• Western Land Planning undertook a project to provide 94 individual property plans for the Narromine  Irrigation Scheme. 


• Western Land Planning also provides a range of individual plans for customers throughout New South Wales and Queensland.
